We're a small team building legal hold infrastructure that legal departments actually rely on. We ship fast, care about quality, and work on problems that matter.
4 open roles across engineering, compliance, and customer success.
You will own core platform infrastructure: the API layer, migration engine, audit logging system, and integrations with identity providers and cloud storage platforms. We use Python with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy. Experience with compliance-adjacent domains — healthcare, fintech, legal tech — is a genuine plus. You should be comfortable operating with significant autonomy and defending technical decisions.
You will build and maintain the Citelock web application: matter dashboards, hold issuance flows, custodian tracking views, and the audit trail export interface. The current stack is React with TypeScript. We care about accessibility, performance, and shipping interfaces that legal professionals find genuinely intuitive under pressure.
You will own customer-facing compliance documentation, respond to security questionnaires and DPA requests, support SOC 2 audit preparation, and help enterprise prospects through their security review process. A background in legal operations, eDiscovery, privacy (CIPP preferred), or enterprise SaaS compliance is directly relevant. This role requires writing ability — you will produce documentation that enterprise legal teams and their procurement teams rely on.
You will manage onboarding, ongoing relationships, and renewals for Citelock's enterprise customer base. This is not a scripted support role — it requires understanding legal hold workflows well enough to advise customers on best practices, troubleshoot complex migration scenarios, and surface product feedback that drives roadmap decisions. Experience working with in-house legal teams or in a legal tech company is expected.
